No. Please send a sack lunch and a beverage. A microwave and refrigerator are available. Participants should be able to prepare and eat their lunch independently, except for learning to use the microwave.
Yes. Snack foods and water are available at no charge. Programming may occasionally include a cooking project (noted on the calendar in advance), and participants may choose to eat that instead of their lunch. We still encourage everyone to bring a lunch in case they don’t prefer what’s prepared.
When off-campus, staff always carry a cell phone. After hours, please leave a detailed voicemail with your name and number, and we’ll return your call by 9:00 a.m. on the next business day.
Switching or adding days must be requested at least one week in advance and is subject to availability. Unused days are nonrefundable.
All medications must be in original prescription containers labeled with dosage and timing. Participants (and guardians) must inform staff of any medication needs. Staff will supervise self-administration and log time and dosage. Staff cannot administer medication or determine dosing.
We plan engaging, meaningful activities. If a participant opts out of an in-house activity, they may choose a self-directed “free choice” alternative. For outings, participants must ride with the group but may sit out when feasible. Please review the daily calendar with the participant in advance.
Extended Day runs 2:00–5:00 p.m. We provide a snack and a variety of activities (e.g., art or science projects, games, cards, puzzles, LEGO bricks). We do not go on outings in the afternoon. Pick-up is no later than 5:00 p.m.
No. We do not provide skilled nursing care. For safety, we cannot accommodate participants who require feeding tubes, respirators, stoma care, tracheostomy care, or hands-on toileting assistance.
Typically once or twice per week, depending on the participant’s schedule and the center’s calendar.
Please commit to one-month increments. Billing follows the agreed schedule until we receive written notice at least two weeks before any change.
Subject to availability, we’ll try to offer make-up days within the same week. Missed days don’t roll over to future weeks, and refunds aren’t available. Absences are reviewed case by case.
