Welcoming visitors into our day program is one of the many ways participants build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create meaningful community connections.
Recently, we hosted students from District 308 for a fun-filled Board Game and Bingo Day. Each participant took on the role of game leader, helping explain the rules, organize activities, and encourage everyone to join in the fun.
The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and new friendships as participants and students played games together throughout the day. Taking on leadership roles gave participants the opportunity to strengthen their communication skills while guiding others through each activity.
Experiences like these help participants grow in confidence while creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels included. We are grateful to the District 308 students for spending the day with us and helping make it such a memorable event.
